and any individual (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) purchasing or benefiting from the services offered by Motherhood in France.
These T&Cs are provided together with the service contract and are signed simultaneously.
2. Nature of the Services
Motherhood in France provides non-medical support services related to pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting, specifically designed for expatriate families living in France.
Services may include:
- a 4-month personalised support program,
- individual remote sessions,
- emotional, practical, and informational support.
⚠️ These services are strictly non-medical and do not replace medical, psychological, or paramedical care provided by qualified professionals.
3. Duration of the Program
The main support program has a fixed duration of four (4) months, starting from the agreed start date defined in the contract.
The support is personalised and may evolve throughout the program according to the Client’s needs and circumstances.
4. Pricing
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included.
VAT not applicable – Article 293B of the French Tax Code.
The price applicable is the one agreed upon at the time of signing the contract.
5. Booking and Payment
Payment is made online via the secure payment platform Stripe, according to the terms defined in the contract (full payment or instalments, if applicable).
Motherhood in France does not store or access banking details.
6. Contractual Framework
A written contract is signed at the beginning of the program.
This contract defines:
- the nature and duration of the services,
- the price and payment terms,
- the conditions of interruption, adaptation, or termination,
- the mutual commitments of both parties.
7. Interruption, Adaptation and Early Termination of the 4-Month Program
7.1 Principle
The 4-month program constitutes a fixed-duration commitment.
Early termination of the contract is only possible for medical reasons, duly justified.
No other non-medical reason (personal, professional, organisational, or subjective) may justify unilateral termination of the contract.
7.2 Medical Reasons
In the event that the Client must interrupt the program due to a health-related issue (physical or mental), including pregnancy-related complications, postpartum recovery, or medical contraindications:
➡️ Priority will always be given to adapting the program to the Client’s new situation, so that she may continue to benefit from support in a form that is appropriate and respectful of her health.
Examples of adaptation may include:
- modifying the rhythm of sessions,
- temporarily pausing the support,
- shifting the focus of sessions (emotional support, postpartum preparation, etc.).
7.3 Refund Conditions in Case of Medical Termination
If, despite these adaptations, the Client expressly wishes to terminate the program and has paid in advance:
- A refund may be granted on a pro-rata basis, corresponding to the months not yet completed at the date of termination.
- Any month started is considered due.
- Services already provided remain non-refundable.
The refund request must be made in writing by email and may require a medical justification.
7.4 Exclusion of Other Grounds for Termination
Termination of the contract for non-medical reasons (change of personal situation, lack of availability, change of priorities, dissatisfaction not previously discussed, etc.) is not accepted and does not give rise to any refund.
7.5 Dissatisfaction and Dialogue
If the Client expresses dissatisfaction during the program, both parties agree to:
- discuss the situation openly and respectfully,
- seek an amicable solution,
- determine together the most appropriate way to continue or conclude the support in good conditions.
Motherhood in France commits to acting with professionalism, flexibility, and care, within the contractual framework.
8. Postpartum Support Sessions
At the end of the 4-month program, the Client may choose to continue with postpartum support sessions.
These sessions are:
- individual,
- booked separately,
- without any obligation or subscription.
9. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Client benefits from a 14-day right of withdrawal for remote services, unless the service has begun with the Client’s express consent.
By starting the program before the end of this period, the Client expressly waives this right.
10. Liability
Motherhood in France undertakes to provide its services with care, professionalism, and kindness.
Its liability is strictly limited to the amounts paid by the Client under the contract.
11. Personal Data – GDPR
Personal data is processed solely for the management of the services.
