What to expect during pregnancy support?

Every pregnancy is unique, and so is the support you may need. These sessions are a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your questions, emotions, and expectations. Together, we can talk about what feels important to you right now, such as:

Every parent has a vision of how they imagine their baby’s arrival. Together, we can talk about what feels right for you, where, how, and with whom you want to give birth, so you feel more confident and aligned with your wishes.

Birth is also a journey for your partner. We can discuss how they can best support you, whether emotionally, physically, or simply by being present, so you both feel more prepared and connected on this important day.

A birth plan is a way to express your wishes and needs clearly. We can explore your “yes, absolutely,” your “absolutely not,” and your “if possible,” so you feel empowered and ready to communicate your preferences with confidence.

The French healthcare system may feel overwhelming or unfamiliar. I can help you understand what to expect at appointments, what choices you have, and how to feel more at ease navigating the maternity journey in France.

Postpartum begins the moment your baby is born, and preparing ahead makes a big difference. We can talk about rest, support, and the “village” you can build around you, even when you’re far from family and friends.

Pregnancy brings a mix of joy, fears, and questions. In our sessions, you can share openly about what excites you, what worries you, and how you imagine life with your baby, in a safe and non-judgmental space.

In multicultural families, pregnancy and birth often come with different expectations. Together, we can explore these perspectives and help you find balance and understanding between cultures.

There is no agenda and no pressure. You choose what matters most in the moment, and I hold the space with empathy, presence, and compassion. Every journey is different. Whatever is on your heart, from identity changes to navigating family expectations, from finding balance as a multicultural household to simply needing to cry or be heard, our sessions adapt to you.

Let’s arrange your first session together.

What to Expect in a Session

✔️ Kind, bilingual support

✔️ A safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly

✔️ Attentive listening and compassionate presence

✔️ Emotional support during pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting

✔️ Gentle guidance to help you reflect, clarify your needs, and make your own choices

What Not to Expect in a Session

✔️ Medical care: I am not a midwife or doctor, and I do not provide medical treatment or prescriptions

✔️ Psychological therapy: I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist

✔️  Ready-made solutions or “one-size-fits-all” advice – instead, I help you explore your own answers

✔️ Emergency support: in urgent situations, you should always contact a medical professional or emergency services

I am a Doula, not a Midwife

I do not perform any medical procedures and I am not a therapist. My services are complementary to those provided by midwives or doctors, and do not replace medical care from a healthcare professional.

I do not support mothers or couples who have not arranged regular medical follow-up throughout pregnancy and in preparation for birth with a midwife or an obstetrician-gynecologist.

I always work alongside and in collaboration with medical professionals.
